The Stone of the Discovery

Pictured left is the "Stone of Discovery", where the young John Pereira found the Holy Image. The photo right is a sculpture showing the scene of the finding were.

The stone encuntra in small museum where they exhibit the exbotos left by the faithful over time. There are also gifts made to Our Lady as sculptures, poems, paintings, etc. Also see part of the old structures of the temple was rebuilt on multiple occasions (as Carthage, a city where the bacillus has suffered several earthquakes).

En la foto izquierda se encuentra la "Piedra del Hallazgo", lugar donde la Joven Juana Pereira encontro la Santa Imagen. La foto derecha esta una escultura que muestra la escena del hallazo.

La piedra se encuntra en pequeño museo donde se exiben los exbotos que han dejado los fieles a través del tiempo. Hay tambíen regalos hechos para Nuestra Señora como esculturas, poemas, pinturas, etc. También se aprecia parte de las viejas estructuras del templo, reconstruido en multiples ocaciones (pues Cartago, ciudad donde se encuentra la bacilica ha sufrido varios terremotos ).
